Bryn Mawr Defeats Cedar Crest, 18-7

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Despite a six-goal performance by Cedar Crest's Kirsten Gustafson (Winstead, Conn.), Bryn Mawr easily handled the Falcons in the Seven Sisters 7th-place game, 18-7. Bryn Mawr jumped to a 5-0 lead to start the game before Gustafson put Cedar Crest on the board, then rallied again later in the half, scoring four goals in less than a minute en route to a commanding 13-4 halftime lead. Bryn Mawr maintained control in a low-scoring second period to secure the win.

Allison McMahon (Columbus, OH.) led Bryn Mawr, netting six goals in the victory. Avery Winn (Summit, N.J.) and Moriah Scott (Zionsville, Pa.) added four goals each. Lauren Faber (Bel Air, Md.) tallied five saves in the win. Kirsten Gustafson (Winstead, Conn.) led Cedar Crest with six goals, while Brianna Adam (Perkiomenville, Pa.) chipped in one. Goalie Mackenzie Lee (Bar Harbor, Maine) had three saves.
