MEMBERSHIP: The Nehoiden Golf Course consists of members of the College Community and a limited number of Town residents. Student memberships are effective from the opening of the College in the fall through Commencement day, and for enrolled students during Summer Session. Wellesley College students who are working at the College may play during the summer after paying a regular College membership fee determined at the winter Nehoiden Golf Course meeting.
IDENTIFICATION: Students may play of the golf course during the school year by showing their Wellesley College ID.
STUDENT PLAY: During the week students may begin their round on the 7th tee, across the road from the light by the College Club by alternating with golfers who are playing. On weekends and holidays, play must begin at the first tee. (See map) We ask all golfers to play ready golf, meaning you should keep up with the pace of play of the group in front. For students learning the game, play to "double bogey" or two over par on each hole, then pick up and move to the next hole.
GUESTS: Students are responsible for the conduct of their guests. STUDENTS MUST ACCOMPANY THEIR GUESTS DURING THE ENTIRE ROUND OF GOLF. A student may not have more than three guests at one time. Each player must have her/his own set of clubs and a bag. No sharing is permitted. No group may exceed four players.
GUEST TICKETS: No money is to be paid on the course. Students must purchase guest tickets in advance at the Keohane Sports Center Front Desk. The charge for a guest ticket is $1.00 for weekday play; $2.00 for holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
CLUBS: There are a limited number of sets of clubs available for student use which may be picked up at the Sports Center Front Desk. Balls and tees are included. The fee is minimal ($1-2 depending on duration), but in some circumstances a deposit or an id must be left at the Front Desk.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Student-rate guest tickets may not be used for faculty guests or residents of the Town of Wellesley.
A FLAG FLIES FROM THE GOLF HOUSE WHEN HOLES #6 AND #7 ARE RESERVED FOR CLASSES. When the flag is flying, players must skip to the 8th hole.
