Christina Pujol
The Latin Dance instructor at Wellesley College, Christina has studied at the Conservatorio de Malaga (Spain), at the Centro de Ensenanza e Investigacion y Compania Profesional
de Baile Popluar Merecumbe (Costa Rica), at the Escuela Nacional de Arte (Cuba), and with Carmen Nelson in Colorado. She has also performed in dance festivals in Boulder, Longmont, and Denver,
CO; in “Afro-Cuban All-Stars” documentary in Cuba;
in the movie “The Blue Diner”; in fundraisers
for WGBH and Muscular Dystrophy Foundation; in Centennial
Celebration at Symphony Hall; and in TV shows “Caliente
and “Pachanga Latina.”
Christina, who has a master's degree in computer science, is interested in dance as a form of healing, psychology, and other alternative
forms of healing. She also enjoys photography in relation with dance, movement and music.
