Registration for Physical Education courses occurs online, via Banner Self Service.
Please read these instructions carefully to ensure that you understand the system, its policies, and procedures.

Registration Policies
- Only students needing PE credit are able to enroll online. While we applaud those who fulfill the requirement early, they are able to enroll in PE classes only by attending the first session; if space is available, the instructor will enroll them.
- You will be able to enroll in one (1) class online and place yourself on one (1) waitlist. While you are welcome to take more than one PE class during a given term or semester, to join a second class you will need to attend the first session to see if space is available.
- Students registered for a class must attend the first session to hold their spots.
- Courses may be taken only once for credit. There are no exceptions.
- Students who have already received credit for the semester version of a given class are not eligible to receive credit for its term version. For instance, if a student has already earned credit for Semester Beginning Golf, she may not earn credit for Term Beginning Golf. However, students who have already earned credit for the term version of a class are eligible to receive credit for its semester version (e.g., Wintersession Yoga, then Semester Yoga).
- Do not register online if. . . .
- You are interested only in playing on a varsity athletic team. Instead, contact the appropriate coach.
- You are interested only in the Wellesley College Dancers. Instead, contact Samantha Cameron.
- You are interested only in Dorm/Class Crew. Instead, contact Tessa Spillane.
- You want to take Horseback Riding at Dana Hall. Instead, call 781-235-3010 and ask for the Riding Center.
Registration Procedures
Note: Prior to Registration, visit Banner Self Service to ensure that your PIN works and that you are able to login. If your PIN does not work, you must go to the Registrar’s Office with your ID to have it reset.
- To register, go to: https://bannerss.wellesley.edu:4453/
- Click on ‘Students, Faculty, and Staff - Click HERE to Log In.’
- Enter your student ID and PIN, then click ‘Login.’
- On the Student Main Menu page, click on 'PE Menu," then ‘PE Registration.’
- Review the instructions on the main PE Registration page, then click ‘Register for PE classes.’
- Click the radio button next to the course you would like to take (you may click on only one radio button) and then click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page. Follow the online instructions to confirm your registration.
- To add your name to waitlist, click ‘Back to Course List’ on the registration confirmation page to select your waitlist class.
Registration Notes
- You will be able to register for only one Semester 1 course or one Term 1 course, not one of each. This also applies to waitlists.
- If you’d like to add or drop a class during the online registration period, go to the PE Menu page on Banner Self Service (see item #1 above) and follow the online prompts.
- To add a class after the end of the online registration period, you will need to attend the first class meeting; the instructor will add you to the roster if space is available.
- To drop a class after the registration period has ended, contact either the instructor or the Physical Education Registrar, Tom Wilson (twilson1@wellesley.edu).
- After registering or waitlisting for a given class, make sure to print the confirmation page for your records, as PE courses will not appear in your online class schedule.
Troubleshooting
- If your PIN does not work, you must go to the Registrar’s Office with your ID to have it reset.
- If your PIN works but you are not able to access the system, make sure you are registering during your assigned time slot (see Registration Periods above).
- If you are still not able to register, contact Tom Wilson (x2004).
