Skiing and Snowboarding
Term 3, 2007-08
The downhill ski
and snowboarding program is conducted at Nashoba Valley
Ski
Area, a 45-minute ride from the College. The Nashoba Valley
Ski School accommodates all levels of skiing expertise
from
beginner to expert.
The Skiing/Snowboarding program includes five trips to Nashoba: February 13, 20, 27, March 5 and 12 . Students must ride the College-sponsored bus to and from Nashoba. The bus leaves promptly at 5:00 PM from the front of the Sports Center.

Students who have fulfilled the requirement: Feb 1, 3:00-4:00pm, in the Sports Center |

| Equipment Fitting |
Monday, Feb 4, 5:00-6:00 PM in the Sports Center or at the Nashoba equipment shop at the first session. |

| Attire |
Ski pants/warm
slacks, ski parka, warm mittens/ gloves, heavy socks, warm
hat. Helmets are available for purchase at the Equipment Fitting or at the rental shop at Nashoba Valley. |

| Fees |
$40 transportation
fee (billed directly to student's account) |
| |
$110 for lift tickets only; $130 for lift tickets and lessons |

$75 for equipment rental (optional) |
| |
Fees
for tickets, lessons, and rentals are due at the Equipment Fitting,
cash or check only (checks payable to Nashoba Valley). |

| Credit |
Students must attend
at least four lessons to earn credit. If weather conditions
reduce the number of trips to Nashoba, students might not
be eligible to receive credit. |
