WHEATON BLANKS WELLESLEY 4-0 IN THE SEMIFINALS OF THE NEWMAC TOURNAMENT

Norton, Mass. –   Christy McHugh (Salem, Mass.) tallied the first of Wheaton’s three first half goals in the 20th minute to lead the Lyons past Wellesley 4-0 in the semifinals of the 2003 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament, Saturday at Wheaton.  McHugh’s goal was the first of three goals in a 10 minute span for Wheaton as Erin Brennan (Mesa, Ariz.) and Jordan Pouliot (Manchester, N.H.) knocked in goals in the 27th and 30th minute.
