MIT Hands Wellesley Third Overtime Loss Of Season
WELLESLEY, MA - MIT handed the Wellesley College soccer team its third overtime loss this season, winning 3-2 Saturday afternoon.
Wellesley is now 0-3-1 in overtime games this season.
Sophomore Kelly Kehm scored off an assist from senior Nellwyn Hagan with 41:58 left in the second half before MIT scored a pair of goals to take a 2-1 lead. Junior Lisa Andruszkiewicz then tied the game off an assist from fellow junior Bridget Jones with 13:24 remaining in regulation.
Wellesley (7-5-1 overall, 4-4-1 NEWMAC) opens play in the NEWMAC Tournament Wednesday. Pairings and times have not yet been announced.
