Wellesley, Springfield Play To 1-1 Draw

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Wellesley College soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with Springfield Saturday afternoon.

Junior Shannon Mulaire scored Wellesley's lone goal off an assist from fellow junior Bridget Jones at the 74:15 mark of the second half to tie the game at 1-1. Sophomore goalkeeper Elizabeth Senecal recorded 10 saves for Wellesley.

Springfield outshot Wellesley 15-13 and held an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.

Wellesley (5-2-1 Overall, 2-1-1 NEWMAC) plays at Babson, Tuesday at 4 p.m.
