Dear Fellow Golfers,

The 2007-2008 season began with impressive results last fall.  With two major tournament wins and one tri-match victory, the golf team walked away with three first place trophies. Our spring tournament schedule begins in Daytona Beach, Florida, at the Embry Riddle Invitational.  This is a competitive mix of NCAA Division I, II, and III players and should provide a great platform for our remaining schedule.

Senior Jenny Jenq completed graduation requirements in December and will be pursuing her dream of playing golf on tour.  Jenny was a strong contributor in the fall and we wish her the very best in her future endeavors. First-year Kimberly Eaton has impressively finished in the top 10 in every event, including a first place win at the Wellesley Invitational and the Endicott/Mt. Holyoke match.

Golf is played by the individual, but in collegiate golf, every player counts and everyone is a contributor.  This is a young team with great potential and I am pleased to be working with every one of these ladies. I hope to be a positive contributor in the development of their golf skills this spring, but also find ways to develop a positive team dynamic. As a first-year coach I learn something new every day. Creating the best golf team we can be is our mission. Thank you for your interest in our program; hope to see you on the links!

GO BLUE!
