2007-08 Recap: After a fall season that season began with 5th- and 9th-place finishes at the Head of the Housatonic, and a strong race at the Head of the Charles, Blue Crew began the spring season ranked 13th nationally in Division III and eventually rose to 11th in the nation. In April, the team captured Wellesley's first-ever Florence Smith Cup as the overall team points winner at the NEWMAC Championships and also won the NEWMAC Sportsmanship Award. At the New England Championships, the Blue took fifth place overall with the first novice boat earning bronze medals at the event. To close out the season, Wellesley rowed well at the ECAC Championships, with the novice boat capturing the silver in the Grand Final. Blue Crew also landed three All-NEWMAC selections in varsity rowers Juliana Martinez and Jacqueline Lewandowski and novice coxswain Hannah Woodruff.
