Johnson Named To All-Conference Team In Epee

WELLESLEY, MA – Wellesley College fencer Emily Johnson (Pittstown, N.J) was this week named to the NortheastFencing Conference Second Team in epee. It is her first selection and the second straight year the Blue have been represented in All-Conference honors.

Johnson is the epee leader in the Northeast Conference, topping the standings with a 16-5 overall record.  At last weekend's New England Championships she collected ten victories to finish fourth in the epee competition and help Wellesley to a second-place finish. Previously she racked up 14 wins at the Northeast Conference meet in victories over Sacred Heart, Vassar. Boston College and Dartmouth.

The Blue will appear next in NCAA Regional competition on March 2nd at Vassar.
