Eaton Takes Third in Mount Holyoke Golf Invitational

SOUTH HADLEY, MA – The Wellesley College golf team wrapped up the Mount Holyoke College Invitational with an eighth-place finish in a field of 15 teams on Sunday in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Leading the way for the the Blue was first-year Kimberly Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) who shot a 157 with a round of 78 on Sunday. Eaton's eighth-place finish was her second straight top-ten performance.
Jennifer Jenq (Saratoga, Calif.) shot the Blue's second-best score with a two-round total of 165, including an 81 on Saturday. Jenq's 165 placed her 14th out of 77 competitors.
Wellesley will return to the links on Saturday, October 6th when the team tees off at the Williams Invitational.
