Wellesley Squash Competes at Women's Colleges Championship

Northampton, MA — Smith College recently hosted the second annual Women’s College Squash Championships. Players from Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Wellesley competed in an individual tournament with A, B, C, and D draws.

In the A draw finals, Pamela Anckermann (MHC) defeated Laurian Lue Yen (MHC) in three games. Kasia Kolodziejczak (MHC) defeated Margaret Oliverio (Smith) in the finals of the B draw by a score of 3 to 1. Wellesley took both the C and D draws.  The Blue's Faith Kim was a 3-0 winner over Michelle Zagardo (MHC) while Wellesley’s Kirsten Levandowski won the D draw by beating Smith’s Sarah Lentz.

Overall, Mount Holyoke finished with 47 points, Smith totaled 42 points, and Wellesley scored 37 points.
