Jill Cahill St. Peter

H.S. – Graduated 1988 from Framingham North High (now Framingham High) in MA
Currently enrolled in Northeastern University, for a B.S. in Business Administration,
pursuing a degree at night while working full-time
Jill joined the Wellesley Physical Education, Recreation and Athletic Team in April 2007 and very much enjoys being a part of the PERA team..
Prior to working at Wellesley, Jill worked at Brandeis University, Waltham, MA for six years in the Orientation and First-year Programs Dept. and Student Development and Judicial Education Dept. simultaneously. While working at Brandeis, she developed many administrative skills needed for working at a University and was honored for her hard work, receiving the Zirkel Award for Excellence, as the employee of the year.
Now that I've been at Wellesley for two years, I get a charge out of being an Administrative Assistant to the Chair/Director, Office Coordinator and getting involved in recreational activities in the department. I love going to as many sporting events as time allows. I did not have the college experience as a student, so, I think in some ways I am living my "college years" though the students, staff, faculty and events that happen here. It's not just a job, it's an experience like I have never had before. I feel that I have found my niche, after being in the corporate world for 13 years and the higher education world for 8 years, I prefer higher education. It's a nice blend of both worlds. I love my job and I know pushing paperwork or juggling calendars is not for everyone, I enjoy it; it's a bonus seeing the students' everyday too!
Jill was able to marry her partner of 15 years, Fran, in Provincetown, MA in May of 2004. She is a fourteen-year veteran of figure skating and now enjoys recreational skating and volunteering with children just learning how to skate. She also volunteers with the mentally and physically challenged where her sign language skills come in handy. Jill enjoys going on vacations and is a collector of postcards from all over the world, Disney paraphernalia, figurine eggs, and carousels.
Be sure and stop by the 2nd floor of the KSC and say Hi, she also loves meeting new people!
