Tennis Competes at ITA Regional Championships This Weekend

WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Wellesley College tennis team will travel to MIT this weekend to compete in the 2009 Wilson/ITA Regional Championships. The Blue will enter four players into the three day event.
Leading the way for Wellesley, sophomore Marie Wantanabe (Houston, TX) earned a #8 seed in the singles competition. Teammates Mohona Siddique (Chevy Chase, MD) and Jacqueline Shen (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) are also seeded at the event, ranking second in the doubles competition.
Wantanabe will pair up with junior Nathalie Herman (San Francisco, CA) to compete in the doubles event, while Herman, Siddique and Shen will all join Wantanabe in the singles competition.
