* Flowers small, white, with up to 7 pointed petals.
* Leaves whorled at the top of the plant.
* Flowers arise from the whorl.
* Height: Up to 10".

Natural History:
* Flowers May - August.
* Habitat: Woods, occasionally alpine environments.
* Range: Northern United States and southern Canada.
* Native.

* In Massachusetts, Star Flower is also called Star-of-Bethlehem.
