

Andrew Evans joined the College as Vice President for Finance and Treasurer in August 2004. Prior to that, he served as Vice President for Finance of Oberlin College from 1995 to 2004. Mr. Evans received his B.A. from The College of William and Mary in 1972 and an M.B.A. from George Washington University in 1982. He also received his C.P.A. in 1974. Prior to his experience in higher education, Mr. Evans held several positions in the U.S. Agency for International Development. He and his wife, Nancy, have three daughters.


Linda Murphy Church is the Assistant Vice President for Finance. In this capacity, Linda is responsible for the preparation and day-to-day management of the College's $200 million operating and capital budget. She also directs risk management.. Prior to this role Linda was the Budget Director. Linda came to Wellesley College in 1977 working part-time in Library security. In 1984 she began full-time in Library acquisitions. She came to the Budget Office in 1988 as the Budget and Planning Assistant and was named Associate Budget Director in 1994. Prior to coming to Wellesley, Linda was a software technical writer and also was involved in real estate marketing. Linda has her MBA from Babson College and received her BA from Regis College.
Amy
Chandler-Nelson is
the Assistant to the Vice President for Finance and Treasurer. In addition
to standard administrative duties, she serves
as scribe
to the Advisory Committee for Budgetary Affairs. Prior to Wellesley,
she was Assistant Director of the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship Program.
