Mathematical Functions

The following functions have real arguments and return real values (scalar or vector).

pi constant [[pi]] = 3.1415926535897932385 sqrt(r) square root, R(r) exp(r) exponent, er ln(r) natural logarithm, ln(r) sin(r) sine arcsin(r) arcus sine cos(r) cosine arccos(r) arcus cosine tan(r) tangent arctan(r) arcus tangent, range -[[pi]]/2 .. +[[pi]]/2 arctan2(r1,r2) arcus tangent of r1 / r2 in range -[[pi]] .. +[[pi]] The following functions have real arguments and return integer values. ceiling(r) round r to the next higher integer floor(r) round r to the next lower integer round(r) round r to the closest integer The following functions generate random numbers. RandomSI generate a scalar integer random number (full int. range) RandomVI generate a vector integer random number (full int. range) RandomSR generate a scalar real random number (range 0..1) RandomVR generate a vector real random number (range 0..1) RandomSB generate a scalar boolean random value (TRUE or FALSE) RandomVB generate a vector boolean random value (TRUE or FALSE)
