I found that Infoseek Ultra was the most efficient search engine. It allowed me to find information on Herman Hollerith the fastest and with the least amount of directions from me. What was frustrating was when in Yahoo I had to try a few different ways before I was transferred to Alta Vista and was able to locate concrete information. It takes a lot of trial and error when a search phrase is not immediately accepted (I am not a patient person). I liked how Excite had a lot of options for me to choose from. I was able to find more information on Hollerith because of the option given to go to similar sites. The variety of material available on the Web is impressive.
