Graduate Fellowships Requiring Campus Review
American Graduate Fellowships– Support one or two years of study for the PhD or DPhil in history, philosophy, literature and languages, and fine arts at selected institutions for graduating seniors or recent graduates. (U.S. citizens)
Carnegie Junior Fellows Program- Provides a substantive work experience for graduating seniors or graduates from the previous year who have a career interest in international affairs. Monthly salary plus medical and life insurance. Open to all nationalities.
Churchill Scholarships– Offer American students aged 19 to 26 of exceptional ability and achievement the opportunity to pursue one year of graduate study in engineering, mathematics, or the sciences at Churchill College Cambridge University. (Restricted to U.S. citizens.)
Jack Kent Cooke Scholarships - Provide seniors and recent graduates funding for graduate study in any field. Must be eligible for financial aid. Open to all nationalities.
Fulbright U.S. Student Program- Covers one year of study at an academic institution in selected countries or English teaching assistantships in Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Belgium/Luxembourg, Boznia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay or Venezuela. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a B.A. before the beginning date of award and must have language proficiency to communicate with people of the host country and to carry out the proposed study.
Luce Scholars Program - Provides a ten-month internship to young leaders established in their career fields who have no significant experience in Asia or Asian studies. (Restricted to U.S. citizens under age 30.)
Marshall Scholarships - Offer two years of study in any discipline at any British university mainly at the graduate level to U.S. citizens who have graduated from their undergraduate institution after April 2005.
George J. Mitchell Scholarships - Offer U.S. citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 one year of graduate study in any discipline offered by an institution of higher learning in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
Rhodes Scholarships - Offer U.S. citizens 18 through 23 two or possibly three years of study at Oxford University at the undergraduate or graduate level. Citizens from certain additional countries are eligible to apply through their own country.
Mary Elvira Stevens Traveling Fellowship – For travel or study outside the United States in order to benefit from the knowledge and understanding of a global education. Any scholarly, artistic, or cultural purpose may be considered. Candidates must be at least 25 years of age in the year of application, 2007.
Wellesley College Graduate Fellowships - A number of fellowships for graduate study of research are open to graduating seniors and graduates of Wellesley College. Open to all nationalities.

The fellow's time may be divided between helping to organize and promote English language activities at Chung Chi College as a whole, and serving as a teaching or research assistant for an academic department. - Wellesley-Yenching

The fellows teach English in the classroom for approximately 12 to 14 hours each week with office hours three to four times a week. - Wellesley-Yenching Graduate Fellowship at the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan
Approximately one-half of the fellow's work will be with the NPM Secretariat where she will write, translate, and revise English documents for various departments. The other half of the fellow's work will be with one of the Museum's other departments.
