The American Cities Internship Program (ACIP) provides an intensive, career-related internship experience in your field of interest. Participants will be placed in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations with a mentor who oversees the internship experience. Through the internship, participants will become familiar with an area of business and learn what it means to be in a business environment. They will also learn how to set realistic expectations for the early job experience and how to develop management skills. The Wellesley College Business Leadership Council (BLC), a group of Wellesley alumnae in management leadership positions who are high-level decision makers in their companies, organizations or institutions, and other local alumnae play key roles in organizing and overseeing the program in their cities.
