Churchill Scholarships
Applicants for a Churchill Scholarship must go through the Wellesley College screening process in order to be nominated. It is important to discuss your plans with Ellie Perkins, Director of Fellowship and Preprofessional Programs, before proceeding with your application. Please contact Mary Beth Callery to make an appointment (ext. 2347, mcallery@wellesley.edu) or come to fellowship drop-ins with Ellie Perkins.
Preliminary application material includes:
- Completed Churchill Scholarships Cover Sheet
- Churchill Scholarship Application Form (available online)
- Proposed program of study
- Personal statement
- Four letters of recommendation
- Grade report or unofficial copy of a transcript

Please note: It is necessary to apply separately to the University of Cambridge (indicating Churchill College as your first choice) by October 15, and to take the GRE as soon as possible.
A Wellesley College faculty committee will review applications and nominate two students whose final applications will be sent to the Churchill Foundation by the Monday, November 12, 2007, deadline.
