Fellowship/Scholarship/Financial Aid Check List
To research financial aid/fellowships/scholarships in the Center for Work and Service (CWS) library, consult the following. The library code for financial aid and graduate study in the arts and sciences is yellow.
- Financial aid directories on reserve listing sources of financial aid. These are cross-referenced by subject and eligibility requirements.
- Financial aid notebooks listing grants and awards available from a number of different institutions. These are organized by subject and eligibility.
- Summary sheets: Graduate Fellowships Requiring Campus Committee Review, and descriptive flyers for the various awards. These are available in the yellow financial aid hanging files in the financial aid section of the CWS library.
- Selected Fellowships: Graduate, and Selected Fellowships: Undergraduate. These notebooks of sample applications and additional information are on reserve both in the CWS library and in Clapp.
- The Wellesley College Graduate Fellowship flyer (in the yellow hanging file in the CWS library) describes fellowships for graduate study offered by Wellesley College. These are open to graduating seniors and Wellesley alumnae applying for study or research for the coming year.
- Graduate program catalogs and directories for description of financial aid offered through the graduate institution you apply to/attend. Additional information on graduate schools may be found at www.gradschools.com.
- FirstClass Conferences:
cws-announcements - informs students of fellowships, panels, workshops, and information meetings.
cws-financial-aid-info - lists financial aid opportunities for research and study for Wellesley College students. Check routinely for additions and changes. - Selected Research Resources for Fellowship/Scholarships/Loans
- Be sure to check the CWS Calendar regularly for dates of information meetings, panels, scholarship deadlines and graduate school recruiting meetings.
