Overview
Through the generosity of Wellesley College alumnae, parents, friends and grantors, the CWS offers internship funding to sophomores, juniors, and seniors currently enrolled at Wellesley College. These stipends offer students the opportunity to work full-time at an unpaid internship in not-for-profit and public service organizations, and in some for-profit organizations. Up to 150 awards may be given, well over half of which support student internships in the not-for-profit sector. All of the stipends support students who find their own internship ("student identified"). In addition to the CWS Summer Stipend Program, students may apply for funding to one of the five Named Programs.Deadline
The deadline for all applications is Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at noon. Students will be notified of the committee's decisions by Friday, April 2, 2010. Students selected to receive a stipend must notify the CWS by Friday, April 9, 2010.
