Wellesley College Campus Maps: Green Hall

Green Hall, given by the son and daughter of Hetty H. R. Green, houses administrative offices, the Newhouse Center for the Humanities, and classrooms. The tower, certainly the focal point of the campus, was given by Galen L. Stone, a Boston banker and College Trustee (1915-1925). It is 182' from the ground to the highest finial and houses a 32-bell carillon, frequently played by students of the Wellesley Guild of Carilloneurs. The following departments are located in Green Hall:

Academic Departments

Handicapped Parking Parking: Parking is available on the upper level of the Academic Quad, between Pendleton and Green Hall. (From 135, follow College Road, and take your fourth right, going up the hill and following the street around, turning right into the parking area when the street opens up. From Rt. 16, this is your 4th left, past Stone-Davis and the Founders Lot)  Doors: If you follow the road under the archway, the main back entrance (facing east) is wheelchair accessible.
