Wellesley College Campus Maps: Pendleton Hall

The Hall was named for Wellesley's sixth president, Ellen Fitz Pendleton (1911-1936) and houses the social sciences in the east wing, and fine arts studios in the west wing. Pendleton contains the departments of Anthropology, Economics, Education, Japanese, Political Science, Sociology, and Studio Art.

Academic Departments | Pendleton East

Handicapped Access Parking: Accessible parking is located at 4 distinct areas around Pendleton Hall. From Route 135, follow College Road, and take your fourth right, going up Pendleton Hill you'll find 2 accessible parking spaces on top. There is also 1 accessible parking space beside 1 of 2 of the Pendleton East access entrances facing the road to the North. There are 2 additional spaces on the same side but nearest Pendleton West. Parking is also available near the Southeastern side of the building closest to Green Hall. Doors: The South side of Pendleton Hall has 2 additional accessible entrances though you would need to travel from the parking closest to Green Hall and up an incline that is at least 35 degrees. The interior of Pendleton has a centrally located elevator providing access.
