I became a part of the Wellesley College Faculty when I joined the vibrant Wellesley Chemistry Department during the 2006-2007 academic year. Since my high school years, I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with many inspiring scientists of very different backgrounds and participate in research thathave bridged physics, biology, and chemistry in a variety of settings. As a biophysical chemist, I like to understand why things are the way they are, and how they do what they do at a molecular level. In particular, I am intrigued by the rules that govern macromolecular structure, dynamics, and folding, especially of proteins, as they pertain to function and regulation. I love teaching and am looking forward to a productive career where I can apply my multidisciplinary scientific training to develop and deliver effective modalities for scientific research and education in an academic setting. Please feel free to browse around to learn about me, my research, and teaching interests. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions and let me know if you would like to become a part of my team or get involved in any of our activities.
