MR Imaging Studies: Specific Aim 3

With IACUC approval, anterior uveitis was induced in one eye of Dutch belted rabbits by subcutaneous injection of Tuberculosis antigen (TBA) followed 10 days later by injection of a centrifuged microparticulate suspension of antigen into the vitreous cavity (Jaffe et al., Ophthalmology 1998; 105: 46-56
Parallel contrast-enhanced MR imaging studies of 4 pairs of rabbits treated for 10 days wih 1% prednisolone acetate or saline solution ("Tears Naturale") were performed using a surface coil on a Bruker Biospec 2T MR imaging system
