Angela Carpenter Class of 2008 Students L-Z Angela Carpenter   Angela Carpenter is Dean of the Class of 2008 for students whose last names begin with L-Z, working with John O’Keefe to share responsibility for the class as a whole. Dean Carpenter graduated from Wellesley in 1999, and received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Before entering Wellesley as a Davis Scholar, Dean Carpenter founded an organization to promote international and cultural exchange. In addition to working directly with students as Class Dean, she is also Director of Harambee House and Advisor to Students of African descent. Dean Carpenter is on campus Monday through Friday.
