Fellowships

Thanks to the generosity of two alumnae, the Classical Studies Department is happy to announce two departmental prizes to be used to defray the cost of off-campus study and travel:
- The Anna Marguerite McCann award provides funds for students who wish to travel or study abroad in the field of Classical Art and Archaeology, with a preference given to students pursuing projects in the field of Mediterranean maritime Archaeology.
- The Edith Tufts award provides funds for research and/or travel in the field of Classical Studies both abroad and in the United States.
Both awards are open to Classical Studies students; interested students should submit the following to the chair of Classical Studies by February 28th:
- brief (1-2 pages) description of project or program explaining how it fits into your overall plan of study
- list of courses taken in the Classical Studies (or related) Department
- budget
- transcript (unofficial)
