1. Setting up the new Banner 7 on a PC

• Logging into Banner on Windows XP 
  • Firewall Authentication is installed on all Windows faculty/staff computers. To log into Banner you need a Firewall password and a Banner/Oracle password.
1. Click the Cisco VPN padlock icon on the desktop. Click Connect and authenticate with your Domain username and password
2. Open a web browser (IE or Firefox)
3. Type in https://bannererp.wellesley.edu:4452
4. Login with Banner/Oracle password.

Banner on Macs

• Logging into Banner on a Mac  
  • Firewall Authentication is installed on all Macintosh faculty/staff computers. To log into Banner you need a Firewall password and a Banner/Oracle password.
  • NOTE:  Mac OS 9 computers cannot log into Banner 6 as it is configured at Wellesley College.  
   
  1. Go to the Dock and click on the Banner folder > VPNClient. Click Connect and authenticate with your Domain username and password.
  2. Open Safari.
  3. Type in https://bannererp.wellesley.edu:4452
  4. Login with Banner/Oracle password.
