Contacts Folder and Address Book

Sharing Personal Mail Lists

  1. Open your Contacts Folder/Address Book and drag a mail list to the header of a new message. It will appear in the Attachments field.
  2. Complete the message as usual and send it to a FirstClass user.
  3. The recipient can drag the attached mail list to her/his own Contacts Folder/Address Book.

How to reactivate the Contacts Folder/Address book

To fix this:

  1. Delete new Contacts Folder/Address Book on desktop (if there is one).
  2. Move your Contacts Folder/Address Book back to your FirstClass Desktop and try using an address.
  3. Make sure you only have only one Contacts Folder/Address Book and that it does not contain another Contacts Folder/Address Book within it.
  4. Exit from FirstClass and log back in.
  5. Try using an address in your Contacts Folder/Address Book again. If it doesn't work, create and save a new address. Your old addresses should now be accessible
