General Information

Wellesley College has teamed with the Boston Consortium for Higher Education and Element K to make web-based software training available to all students free of charge.

Element K Is . . .

Web-based software training
Element K courses provide you with interactive training on a variety of software applications over the World Wide Web. Enhance your knowledge of essential programs like Word and Excel, or learn presentation and Web skills with sessions on PowerPoint and Fireworks.

Self-paced learning
You can start an Element K course at any time, work on it for as long as you like, and come back to it whenever you’re ready.

Personalized instruction
Every Element K course is divided into several modules, allowing quick access to information on specific topics. Many courses begin with self-assessments to help identify your personal training needs.

Online Technical References
Find free Online Technical References via the Catalog page; all references are listed by topic, grouped with other course information. Look up specific answers to technical questions instantly, print individual pages, and bookmark, annotate and create your own personal bookshelf.
