MeetingMaker 8.7 Install Directions for Mac OS X

The following directions are for Wellesley College faculty and staff to install MeetingMaker 8.7 on a Mac OS X computer which is connected to the internet; either on or off campus.

If you have a PalmOS PDA and would like to synchronize it with MeetingMaker, please see the PalmOS PDA syncing directions instead of these directions.


  1. Click to download the MeetingMaker 8.7 Installer to your desktop, and follow the directions below.

  2. When the download completes, on your computer's desktop double-click on the 87_osx_universal_client_en.zip file, then open the 87_osx_universal__client_en folder.

  3. In the MeetingMaker 8.7 for Wellesley College folder, double-click on the Installer file.

  4. In the MeetingMaker Calendar window, click on the lock icon next to where it says Click the lock to make changes.

  5. When the Authentication window appears, login with an Admin account and click OK. The installer will then go through a couple windows until it gets to the Choose Install Folder window.

  6. In the Choose Install Folder window, click Next to install MeetingMaker in the Applications folder.

  7. If you receive a warning to overwrite an existing MeetingMaker application, click OK.

  8. In the Choose Alias Folder window, select the desired location of your MeetingMaker alias, and then click Install.

  9. When the install is complete, check Launch MeetingMaker Calendar box, then click Done.
    MeetingMaker 8.7 will now launch so that you can configure it.

  10. Login using your MeetingMaker username and password. Information on using MeetingMaker 8.7, including some important changes in 8.7, can be found on our Using the MeetingMaker 8.7 Client website.

    NOTE:If Wellesley College is not listed in the Server: field, please follow these steps to configure the server:
