Meeting Maker 8.7 Install Directions for Windows

The following directions are for Wellesley College faculty and staff to install MeetingMaker 8.7 on a Windows computer which is connected to the internet; either on or off campus.

If you have a PalmOS PDA and would like to synchronize it with MeetingMaker, please see the PalmOS PDA syncing directions.


  1. Click to download the MeetingMaker 8.7 Windows Installer. Select save - to desktop.

  2. When the download finishes, double-click on the 87_win_client_en.exe file.

  3. In the MeetingMaker Setup window, click Next.

  4. In the Destination Location window, click Next again.


  5. In the Local data options window, select Move local Meeting Maker database (Recommended) and click Next.


  6. When prompted to set Meeting Maker as the default calendar application, click Yes.


  7. When the install is complete, click Finish. Uncheck Display the Meeting Maker Readme and Display the Getting Started Guide. Check the box Launch the MeetingMaker Application. MeetingMaker 8.7 will now launch so that you can configure it.

  8. In the Welcome to MeetingMaker window, click the Select... button across from the Server field to set the MeetingMaker server.

  9. In the Select Server window, the Protocol should be set to SSL, Click Configure and type in mm.wellesley.edu. Click OK.

  10. After a short delay Wellesley College should appear in the Select Server section, click once on Wellesley College to select it, then click Select.Login using your MeetingMaker username and password.

  11. You may now delete 87_win_client_en.zip file on your desktop. If you do not want to use MeetingMaker at this time, you may quit the application by closing the window.
