- The Settings field should read Page Attributes.
- In the Format for field select Stylus Pro 9600(FW: Roll Paper)
- Click the pull-down menu next to the Paper Size field, and select a page size close to the size of your document. As long as the height is correct, it is okay to choose a size which is 36" wide. The paper will feed out that large regardless.
If the paper Size you need is not on the list, do the following:
- Change the Settings field to Custom Paper Size.
- Click the New button to add a new paper size. Create a name for it based on the size. width" x height" So if your new paper size was 36" x 12", that would be how you would name it.
- Under Paper Size, type in the height and width of your document. Note that the order is reversed from above: type in height first, then the width of your document. The paper width should always be set to 36" because that is the size of the paper in the plotter.
Under Printer Margins, make sure all fields are set to 1 to give your document a one inch margin on all sides.
- Click Save.
- Change the Settings field to Page Attributes.
- Click the pull-down menu next to the Paper Size field and select the paper size you just created. It will be near the end of the list
- Make sure the orientation of the paper is same as the one you selected earlier in Document Setup. Once you have selected the correct page size and orientation, click OK to return to the Print window
- Remember you will be charged according to the number of linear feet you use. You can save paper and money by rotating your image or combining several smaller images to use the entire width of 36”.
6. While still in the Print window, double check your image will fit on the plotter paper by previewing the document in the preview screen on the left section.
