SoulSeek

To Uninstall SoulSeek:

  1. Make sure SoulSeek is not running by checking your system tray. In the bottom right corner of your screen near the clock, look for the SoulSeek icon. If you only see a few icons, there is a blue circle icon between the light blue system tray and dark blue taskbar that you can click on to show all your system tray icons.
  2. Right-click on the SoulSeek system tray icon and select Exit.
  3. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
Note: If you are running Windows XP and the My Computer icon does not appear on your desktop, choose My Computer from the Start menu.
  4. Double-click on Control Panel.
  5. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
  6. Select SoulSeek Client 139. Click Add/Remove.
  7. Follow the instructions on your screen to remove SoulSeek.
  8. Close all open windows.
  9. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
Note: If you are running Windows XP and the My Computer icon does not appear on your desktop, choose My Computer from the Start menu.
  10. Double-click on the icon for your hard drive.
  11. Open the Program Files folder.
  12. Right-click on the SoulSeek folder. From the menu which appears, choose Delete.
  13. When you are asked if you are sure you want to remove the folder, click Yes.

After uninstalling SoulSeek, you should run a spyware removal tool such as Ad-aware to remove any adware and spyware that may have been installed by SoulSeek.
