Did you recently receive a new Windows 2000 PC? The following instructions will help you navigate your way through your new and improved operating system!
1. Introduction to Windows 2000
A brief overview of the Gateway computer and the Windows 2000 operating system, and an introduction to its operation, layout, and general use as a tool for Internet access and desktop productivity.

2. Domain and Passwords in Windows 2000

In order to access Wellesley file servers, you will need to log in to the Wellesley Domain using your domain account username and password.

3. Working with Networking Applications

Learn how Wellesley's computer network facilitates communication among faculty, staff, and students using networked computers and networking software.
4. Working with Desktop Applications

Productivity applications on your computer include software such as the Office XP suite for creating word processing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and graphics.

5. Getting Help

Help with using your computer is readily available from the Helpdesk, the Deskside Coaching program, training classes, and software documentation on the CWIS.
