Before installing, find out what your printer queue
name and model number are. (The queue name will be a set of numbers and letters,
usually starting with the letter P and containing the first three letters of
your building name.)
1. From the Start menu, select Settings, then
Printers.
2. Double-click on Add Printer
.
In the Add Printer Wizard window, click Next.
3. In the Local or Network Printer window, select Local Printer. Uncheck
Automatically detect and install my plug-and-play
printer. Click Next.

6. In the Printer Name or IP Address field, type the queue name of your
printer (e.g., PSCI1A). Click Next.

7. Click Finish.
8. From the Manufacturers list, select HP. From the Printers
list, select the model number of your printer, followed by the designation
"PS" or "PostScript" (e.g., HP LaserJet 5/5M PostScript,
HP LaserJet 4000 Series PS, or HP LaserJet 4050 Series PS). Click
Next.

9. If you are asked whether you want to keep an existing
driver, select Keep existing driver, then click Next.
10. In the Printer name field, type the printer's queue name (e.g.,
PSCI1A). If this is the printer you will be using most often, select
Yes to use this printer as your default
printer; otherwise, select No. Click Next.

11. If you are asked whether you wish to share the printer,
select Do not share this printer. Click Next.
12. When you are asked whether to print a test page, select No.
Click Next.
13. Click Finish.
14. If you receive a message that a Microsoft digital signature was not
found, click Yes to continue the installation.
15. To check if the printer is working correclty, go to Start, Settings,
then Printers, right click on the newly created printer
and pick Properties, and choose Print Test Page.
