Range of Connectivity

There is a range of about 100 feet from the hub, and your wireless card software can show you the signal strength. In buildings with multiple hubs, you can move from hub to hub automatically. If you move out of range, any network activity will stop, and any transactions in progress will terminate. Connectivity will resume when you move back into range, but interrupted transactions will not.

Look for Wellesley Wireless Zone signs indicating that a wireless hub is nearby:
