Instructions on Adding and Removing Proxies

Definition: A proxy is an individual that you assign who can approve timesheets on your behalf in your absence.

Getting Started for adding or removing a proxy:

1. Login to Employee Self Service**
2. Click on Employee Services
3. Click on Time Sheet
4. Click on [Proxy Set Up] located on the center bottom of the screen

To add a proxy:

  1. Click on the arrow on the last box under Name. This list sorted by last name will show you all of the employees who are eligible to be proxies.
  2. Select the person that you want to add as your proxy. *
  3. Click on the Add button next to the name.
  4. Then click on Save located on the bottom left of the screen.
  5. You will then see that the person has been added as your proxy.

To remove a proxy:

  1. Click on the box under the Remove column of the person you wish to delete as your proxy.
  2. Then click on Save located on the bottom left of the screen.
  3. You will then see that the person has been removed as your proxy.

*NOTE: If you do not see the name of the person you want to add as your proxy, please email Bethann Coppi (bcoppi@wellesley.edu) or Juanita Brown (jbrown1@wellesley.edu) to request that the name be added. The following information is required in order to ensure that we add the correct person:
Banner ID (begins with A or B)
Full Name
User Name

If you do not know this information, please ask the person that you wish to add as your proxy. Please allow 2 business days to add the person to the list.

** Detail instructions on how to log into Employee Self Service

  1. You must have a PIN in order to access your system. For faculty & staff, please contact Mary Hackett or Rahniah Atieh in Human Resources to obtain your PIN.
  2. Go to Wellesley homepage www.wellesley.edu
  3. Place your cursor over Especially for Faculty & Staff, you should then see a menu pop up, select Employee Self Service (Banner)
  4. On the top of the page, click on "Access to Employee Self Service is available by clicking here"
  5. Click on "Student, Faculty, and Staff - click HERE to Log In"
  6. Under User ID, enter your Banner ID or your social security number.
  7. Under PIN, enter your PIN
  8. Click on the box "Login"
