Copy Center Copyright Policies & InformationIn accordance with College policy, the Copy Center staff must obey all copyright laws, especially regarding academic articles, books, and other materials that are often used as readings in classes. If you wish to make a course packet or otherwise "create a book" to be used in class, you must obtain copyright clearances from the articles' authors or publishers. Clapp Library has an electronic clearance structure in place. For more information on copyright clearances and regulations, please see the Wellesley College Copyright Policy, or call the Clapp clearance center at x2804. If this is not possible, the Copy Center can make up to three copies of a readings packet, to be placed on shelf reserve in the library. |
