Got a question for the Copy Center?

The Copy Center staff will answer your questions. We've come up with a short list of frequently asked questions to help you out. If you've got a question that isn't answered in the list below or elsewhere on our site, feel free to give us a call at x2395, or email Copy Center manager Vicki Mutascio.

  • Where is the Copy Center?
The Copy Center is located on the first floor of Green Hall, near Student Financial Services, on the corner of the building next to the Green Hall loading dock and Pendleton East. For more information, and a map, see our location page.

  • Is the Copy Center hiring?
The Copy Center hires every Fall. Many current sophomore workers will be going abroad for their junior year, and the seniors are graduating! For more information on the Copy Center family, including employment information, click here.

  • How much do colored copies/white copies cost?
Check our prices page for information about copy prices. If that doesn't answer your question, please call us at x2395 for an estimate, or stop by the Copy Center.

  • Do you do lamination?
No. If your job requires lamination, contact Printing Services.

  • What are your hours?
For the answer to that question, see our business hours.

  • Is there a price difference between single and double-sided copies?
No. Our copies are charged based on the processing of each page; essentially, the copy machine takes a picture of each page that passes across the glass and that is where our meter count comes from. Our contract with the vendor prices the meter count regardless of the amount of paper produced. The benefit to double-sided copying is that you are saving trees and helping the environment.

  • How much are faxes? Can I send or receive faxes there?
Yes, students can now both send and receive faxes at the Copy Center! For more information, see our fax page.

  • Can you make my personal copies for me?
The Copy Center does make copies for students: we will copy your specialized jobs or jobs for student organizations, as well as your senior thesis. Due to copyright issues we cannot make copies of course packets for you (you may do this on the self-service copiers). Also, due to the large volume of student resumes that need to be copied, we do not copy these for you. You are welcome to copy your resume at the Copy Center on our self-service machines. Resume paper is available for purchase at the Copy Center, or you may bring your own, and the staff will be glad to show you how to load it into the copier.

  • How do you replace the toner?
The short answer to this question is: very carefully! If you'd like instruction on how to replace the toner, paper, or staple cartridge in your department's copier, feel free to ask us.
