Welcome by Diana Chapman Walsh, president,
Wellesley College; remarks by Wu Kunyi, director,
Provincial Guidance Group of the Women's
Reproductive Health and Development Program;
Caroline Wang, assistant professor, School of
Public Health, University of Michigan; Joan
Kaufman, program officer, The Ford Foundation; Lucy
Flint-Gohlke, curator, followed by traditional
music performed by The Boston China Music
Association, cosponsored by the Wellesley College
Chinese Student Association.
The opening reception is
held on the eve of the Chinese Autumn Moon
Festival. Mooncakes, a sweet pastry eaten only
during the Autumn Moon, will be served.
