Extended Boundaries
October 19 - December 18, 2005

This exhibition recognized the achievements of the Wellesley College Studio Art Faculty and included recent paintings, photography, prints, sculptures, installations, film and video installations by eleven contemporary artists: Carlos Dorrien, Bunny Harvey, Jessica Irish, Joel Janowitz, Phyllis McGibbon, Qing-Min Meng, Arne Reimer, Sarah Slavick, Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz, Karin Stack, and Ann Steuernagel.

Extended Boundaries highlighted the artistic and academic excellence of the Wellesley College Studio Art Faculty. Beyond playing a vibrant role in the Boston community, as well as nationally and internationally through group and solo exhibitions, screenings of their films and artist residencies at prestigious institutions and galleries, these artists are distinguished members of the Art Faculty at Wellesley College, sharing with their students their knowledge and passion for art.
