List of faculty under review this academic year

 

The Committee on Faculty Appointments publishes each fall and spring a list of faculty members to be reviewed in that academic year for tenure, promotion, reappointment, or merit increases (excluding candidates who request that their names not be published).  This list, Wellesley Week - Dean's Extra, has been posted electronically at the following URL: http://www.wellesley.edu/PublicAffairs/WellesleyWeek/dean'sextraspring2008.pdf.

 

Information on writing letters about your courses and/or instructors

 

We encourage you to submit letters about your courses and/or instructors at any time, not just when someone is being reviewed.  Address your letter to the Dean of the College, Chair of the Committee on Faculty Appointments.  According to college policy, such letters are shared with the faculty member and his/her department chair, so any letter should indicate whether (1) the letter should be shared, as written, with your name left on it; or (2) the letter should be shared with your name and identifying wording removed. Letters must be submitted in writing with a signature (not via e-mail).
