The Dean of the College is Wellesley's chief academic officer. The Office of the Dean of the College is responsible for all faculty and curricular matters. Dean Andrew Shennan, Associate Dean Joanne Berger-Sweeney and Associate Dean Adele Wolfson, together with the support staff, work on all aspects of the academic affairs of the College. The Dean and the Associate Deans work together as a team, with each also having clearly delineated primary responsibilities for the various areas of academic life here at Wellesley College.
