ANDREW SHENNAN
| Professor
Shennan is a specialist in twentieth-century French history. His
books
include: Rethinking France: Plans for Renewal, 1940 - 1946 (1989),
DeGaulle (1993) and The Fall of France 1940 (2000).
A gifted teacher and winner of the Pinanski Prize for Excellence
in
Teaching, Professor Shennan has taught a range of courses in European
history, with a particular emphasis on the twentieth century, modern
France and the World Wars. He was a founding director of Wellesley's
International Relations program and of the College's Summer School.
Professor Shennan served as Associate Dean of the College from 1999
to 2004. |
