Early
Research Opportunities in Natural and Social Science
The Office
of the Dean of the College has made stipends available for
members of the sophomore class to carry out collaborative research
projects
with natural science and
social science faculty mentors each year. Currently work-study
funds can not be used for research positions. Since hands-on
research is
so important in doing natural and social science as well
as in career planning, these funds make available academic year research
opportunities as work-study positions. Infomation

Pamela
Daniels '59 Fellowship
Pamela Daniels
'59, class dean at Wellesley from 1981 until 2000, counseled
and advised six classes of Wellesley students - 1985, 1988, 1991,
1994, 1997 and 2000.. When she retired in May of 2000, her former
students, classmates, family and friends endowed the Pamela Daniels
'59 Fellowship, to be offered annually in the fall to support
an original senior project. Examples of previous Fellows projects
available here.
