The departments and
programs within the Division of Student Life provide academic, social,
career and personal support to Wellesley students and alumnae. Departments
develop and implement specific programs and policies that are important
to the overall growth of each student.
Office
of the Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean
of Students coordinates the overall work of the division in partnership
with students, faculty and administrators.

Dean O'Keefe has administrative responsibility for the Class Deans office, the First-Year Deans office, the Davis Degree Program, the Pforzheimer Learning and Teaching Center, and the Office of Disability Services.
Lin Hilts,
Executive Assistant to the Dean of Students, provides administrative
support for the deans.
She also serves as Clerk for the General Judiciary
Committee.

Government
The close relationship
between student leaders and campus administrators is a fundamental feature
of life at Wellesley. Student leadership is vested in College Government
and the House Presidents Council. Senior administrators meet with student
government and residential hall leaders on a monthly basis through a
group called Unity. The Dean of Students and Associate Dean
meet with College Government each week. In addition, students serve on
virtually every college committee in order to help shape the Wellesley
